The Light is the power of false beauty but solid guidance. He has the capabilities of being very manipulative and selfish, loving and fun. His human self does not respond well to even the smallest slights, so a life that is not really that bad in the great scheme of things will affect him greatly and bring out his worst. However, when given the opportunity to blossom, he is both beautiful and kind. People come to him when feeling down and out for he can energize them better than any Red Bull. Even when at his best, he still has shallow tendencies for the light can only penetrate so deeply.

The Darkness is maternal, fiercely protective, and loyal to a ridiculous fault. She is also materialistic, often wishing she could have everything her eyes fall upon. She does not give much in the way of material wealth because it can be difficult for her to part with it. Do not cross her, for she does not believe in "eye for an eye." Take her eye, she'll take your face. She does it slowly, painfully and subtlely. Many times her victimes don't realize she is the one behind it. Recognition for her vengeance is not what matters; it is the act itself. Luckily, this is rare; it is very difficult (unless you're Light) to make her angry enough to react. She represses all emotions outside of happiness. The down side is that when the dam DOES finally break, it floods.
